Amanda received her Master of Philosophy in Comparative Literature and Bachelor’s degree double-majoring in English Studies and Comparative Literature from the University of Hong Kong. As an English teacher with the LPAT qualification and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (English) awarded by the Chinese University of Hong Kong, she is experienced in teaching English language and literature, English semantics and pragmatics and English for academic purposes in various secondary schools and tertiary institutions. Amanda also has experiences in editing academic publications and refereed journals. Her research interests include learning English language through literary and cultural texts, theories of literary criticism and literature in English by Asian writers.
