Kate Allert
09 January 2014
Kate came to the HKAPA via a circuitous route that included stops at a national ballet company, several small luxury hotels, an investment bank and a high-security male prison.
Throughout this long and enjoyable journey, she has written a wide range of materials, including press releases, plays, language courses and funding proposals. Her latest foray into the world of the written word is a paranormal romance novel, completed in just one month as part of the Nanowrimo project.
She looks forward to a happy year ahead, chronicling the events that will mark the 30th anniversary and having a good reason to chat to students and staff, both former and current.
