Study Programmes

The School of Music provides comprehensive and performance-focused training for students to become professional performers, composers and teachers of music. Hong Kong has seen a rapid and continued expansion of the performing arts scene in recent years, with a corresponding increase in job opportunities. The School of Music offers an ideal training environment which prepares its students for the demands likely to be placed on them when they enter the music profession.

Courses in Chinese and western music run side-by-side. Students may choose to major in a Chinese instrument, a western instrument, voice, or composition and electronic music.
