Reader Services
The Academy Libraries provides a wide range of services and facilities to support teaching, learning and research needs of the Academy. These range from lending services, user education programmes, reference services and support in the use of IT equipment provided by the Libraries.

Reference EnquiriesReference services are provided by professional librarians and para-professional library staff in person during reference hours or through email and telephone.

Research ConsultationOne-on-one assistance is offered to staff and students with specific information needs for research purpose. Staff and students can make appointment with professional librarian who will provide guidance on developing research strategies and identifying appropriate resources for their research.

I.T. Help DeskThe I. T. Help Desk services support users on the use of PC workstations, AV equipment, printing services, scanning services and mobile devices provided by the Academy Libraries. The same service is provided at the Film and Television Library during its opening hours.

User EducationOrientation programmes for staff and students and library workshops are scheduled to familiarize users with different library services and electronic resources. |
|
Subject LiaisonsThere is a team of Subject Liaison staff to work with Schools and Departments on the development of library collection and services. They are the first points of contact for Schools and Department.
