Mr HO, Albert
Lecturer (Music Recording)
Albert Ho is a classical music recording engineer. He has been teaching in the HKAPA over 25 years.
A frequent guest in many talks organized by the LCSD and classical music presenters of Radio Television Hong Kong, Albert is an expert in classical music, composition and recording engineering for the concert hall.
He has involved in a lot of albums and concerts professionally for many years. Recent notable productions include: "Kinwai Plays Schubert" (Published by Universal in 2014), "A New Chapter of Chinese Musical Sounds" (Published by School of Music, HKAPA in 2014), "The Heritage of Cantonese Music" (Published by School of Music, HKAPA in 2014), "The New Generation" (Published by School of Music, HKAPA in 2016), "Singing Christology: Messiah Part I" (Published by Voce Christus in 2017).
Albert holds a Master of Music and Diploma in Education from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is an AVID Authorized Instructor for Pro Tools, and has also been invited as the adjudicator for the 3rd China Record Association (CRA) Student Competition. He was also one of the guest speakers at the 2018 Recording Summit of the China Record Association.
He is currently advancing research in 3D music recording and binaural 3D reproduction for classical music.
He continues to involved worldwide in intellectual exchange on immersive audio recording and binaural 3D reproduction for classical music, in the pursuit of recording in the cutting-edge formats and methods.
