Felix Chan developed his love for props around the early 90s in Hong Kong. He graduated from Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts ( majoring in Props making), and Hong Kong Polytechnic University ( Art & Design in Education).
He then began to work as Freelance props maker, Stage Technician, Assistant Stage Manager, Deputy Stage Manager and also in window display. He has been involved in "Les Miserables", "Miss Saigon" ,"Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat". After a period of freelance work, he returned to school, and began teaching in 2000,
He currently is the Lecturer in School of Theatre and entertainment Arts at Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts. And he also jointed the MFA program in Academy.
Professional experience
Worked extensively in theatre and commercial projects and as a props maker for theatre; window display, Exhibition Installation.
