Anita Chan was awarded her first master’s degree in TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language) and second master’s in Educational Leadership from Brigham Young University in the States. Prior to joining the Academy in 1999, Anita worked in various American universities as well as the Hong Kong Chinese University and in since arriving in Hong Kong Anita has also been involved in international language testing which has deepened her understanding of students’ needs and abilities. As an education enthusiast, Anita believes in providing meaningful and real life learning, cultivating students’ interest in learning English and empowering them to be autonomous learners.
