Screenplay, gave a three-part lecture on the gangster
genre to Degree Year Three students for the Stylistic
Study of a Master Filmmaker course.
Japanese director Kiyoshi Kurosawa met our students to
discuss his latest film,
Tokyo Sonata
, winner of the Best
Film Award at the Asian Film Awards.
Oscar-winning and veteran Producer Arthur Cohn (
Central
Station, One Day in September, The Chorus
) screened
his latest production,
The Yellow Handkerchief
, starring
William Hurt, to our students and visited Béthanie. He
also gave a masterclass on Producing.
Oscar-winning director Oliver Stone delivered an exclusive
talk to a full-house of our students at the Wellcome
Theatre during his visit to the Hong Kong International
Film Festival.
